Commercial and Industrial Off-Grid Power Systems

For sites where the grid is unavailable, unreliable or too expensive to extend, MyEnergy designs complete commercial off-grid power systems using solar, battery storage and generator backup.

These systems are suited to remote businesses, farms, processing facilities, tourism operations, mining infrastructure, workshops, communications sites and other locations that require dependable power without relying on the electricity network.

An off-grid system must do more than meet average daily energy use. It must also handle equipment starting loads, periods of high demand, seasonal changes and reduced solar conditions. We analyse these requirements before sizing the inverter capacity, solar array, battery storage and generator.

Automatic system controls manage solar generation, battery charging, site loads and generator operation. This provides reliable power while reducing unnecessary generator runtime and fuel use.

Grid-Connected, Backup and Hybrid Power Solutions

Not every site fits a standard grid-connected or fully off-grid design. We also develop hybrid power systems for businesses operating with a weak grid, frequent outages or limited network capacity.

A hybrid commercial power system can combine the electricity grid, solar, battery storage and a generator. Depending on the site, it may provide backup for essential circuits, support larger operational loads or maintain broader site operation during a grid outage.

The design is based on what needs to remain powered, how long backup is required and the available energy sources at the site.
