Energy sources
Solar, storage, inverters and generators selected as an integrated supply for the site.
A microgrid is a local power network that manages generation, storage and distribution for a defined site or group of buildings. It can operate independently of the electricity grid or be designed to work alongside it.
MyEnergy Engineering designs and delivers microgrids for remote communities, agriculture, mining, tourism, commercial facilities and critical infrastructure. We bring solar, batteries, generators, distribution and controls together as one working system, designed around the power the site needs every day.

A microgrid is a local power network serving a defined site or group of buildings. It can operate independently or be designed to work alongside the grid. We begin with the loads, reliability requirements, future demand and support available at the location, then develop the system architecture and operating strategy.
Solar, storage, inverters and generators selected as an integrated supply for the site.
Switchboards, site distribution, load management and critical-load priorities developed with the system design.
Operating sequences, generator control, monitoring and recovery requirements considered from the outset.
Our engineering and installation teams work together through energy modelling, equipment sizing, detailed design, procurement, site works and commissioning. Cabinets, skids or containers can reduce integration work in remote locations where suitable. Operator handover and ongoing support form the next stage.

Explore this project ↗MyEnergy has designed and delivered power systems since 2010. Our team connects the design, equipment and installation with long-term operation.
Review the property, current equipment and what the system needs to achieve.
Explain the suitable configuration and the installation or integration work required.
Complete the agreed work, test operation and explain how to use and support the system.
It can be designed to operate alongside a grid connection where the architecture and connection arrangements allow. Islanded or backup operation needs to be specifically designed and approved where required.
Yes. We assess building loads, distribution distances, simultaneous demand and future additions as part of the site-wide design.
With a load assessment and review of the existing supply, site constraints and required operating outcomes. This establishes the scope for feasibility and detailed design.
Tell us about the buildings, critical equipment and operating priorities. We can help define the generation, storage, distribution and control requirements.

MyEnergy can take a microgrid project from the first load assessment through to detailed design, procurement, installation and commissioning. Our in-house engineering and installation teams work together so the completed system follows the design intent and can be maintained over its operating life.
Our capability includes energy modelling, equipment sizing, control strategy, protection and distribution design, generator integration, site works, system testing and operator handover. We can also provide remote monitoring, service and upgrades after commissioning.
For remote projects, equipment can be assembled in cabinets, skids or containers where appropriate, reducing the amount of integration work required on site.
MyEnergy has delivered off-grid and hybrid power systems across Australia and the South Pacific since 2010. Our projects include power systems for remote stations, communities, agricultural operations and tourism facilities.
At Southern Ocean Lodge on Kangaroo Island, MyEnergy delivered a large hybrid power system combining solar generation, battery storage, multiple inverter systems and generators. It demonstrates the level of coordination needed when a remote operation depends on its own power supply.
Whether you are developing a new remote site, replacing diesel generation or improving power reliability at an existing facility, we can help define the loads, assess the options and develop a system that fits the way you operate.
