Three-Phase Off-Grid Power System in Tooperang, South Australia.
Three-Phase Off-grid Power System. Tooperang South Australia.
Tooperang, South Australia, is a beautiful lakeside location about 70km south of Adelaide. While close to the city, this new build had no grid connection and the high cost of connection made a three-phase off-grid power system the best choice. The homeowners needed a reliable, self-sufficient energy setup to power their home without compromise.
A Tailored Three-Phase Power Solution
MyEnergy designed and installed a three-phase off-grid power system built to meet the household's daily energy needs while allowing for future expansion. This system delivers stable and reliable power through a combination of solar, battery storage and technology designed for high-demand usage.
Solar and Battery Technology
The solar array consists of 13.28kW of Trina Vertex panels mounted on the shed roof, with the power system housed neatly inside. The system is built around 3 x Victron MultiPlus-II 48/8000 inverters, configured to create a three-phase supply, delivering 24kVA capacity with up to 40kVA peak to handle high-demand loads across the property.
A 28.8kWh Pylontech battery setup provides scalable storage, maintaining supply during low sunlight periods. Charging is managed by a Victron SmartSolar MPPT RS 450/200-Tr, while a Victron Cerbo GX enables system monitoring and control, ensuring consistent energy distribution and smooth management of peak demand across all three phases.
