Home Solar and Battery System Upgrade in Athelstone, South Australia.

Located in Adelaide's north-eastern suburbs, Athelstone is a well-established residential area known for its leafy streets, family homes and proximity to the Adelaide Hills. As electricity prices rise and feed-in tariffs continue to decline, more homeowners in suburban, grid-connected areas are upgrading to a home solar and battery system to store excess solar energy, reduce electricity bills and provide reliable backup power during blackouts.
Reliable Power, Designed to Suit the Home
The MyEnergy team recently completed a home solar and battery upgrade at a residential property in Athelstone, replacing an ageing solar installation with a modern, higher-capacity system designed to better meet the home's current and future energy requirements.
As part of the upgrade, MyEnergy removed the property's existing eight solar panels and installed 21 new JA Solar panels using a Schletter roof mounting system.

At the heart of the installation is a 10kW three-phase Deye All-In-One system paired with 30.6kWh of stackable Deye low-voltage battery storage. One of the standout features of the Deye All-In-One system is its compact, integrated design, making it an ideal solution where installation space is limited. By combining the hybrid inverter and battery management technology into a single, streamlined unit, it delivers reliable performance, backup capability and room for future expansion. To maximise longevity and protect the equipment from the elements, the entire system was installed inside an unused dwelling on the property.
Grid-Connected Home Solar and Battery System Overview:
Clean Design, Lower Power Bills, Reliable Performance
This home solar and battery replacement has transformed an ageing solar installation into a modern, high-performance energy system built for years of reliable operation. Built around the Deye All-In-One system, the installation combines substantial battery storage with a compact, integrated design that's ideal for properties where space is limited. Safely housed inside an existing building on the property, the system is protected from the elements while maintaining a clean, uncluttered appearance. The homeowners can now store excess solar energy for use when it's needed most, helping lower ongoing electricity costs while providing reliable backup power during blackouts.
