Batteries Are Not Charging

If the batteries are not charging, first check whether solar, grid or generator power is currently available.

• Check the monitoring platform for solar production and active alarms.
• Confirm the battery state of charge is not already close to 100%.
• Check whether weather, shade or time of day is limiting solar production.
• Confirm the generator is running correctly, where fitted.
• For grid-connected systems, check that grid power is available.
• Check that visible inverter, battery and solar isolators have not been switched off.
• Reduce large electrical loads, as property demand may be using all available solar or generator power.

The batteries may charge slowly when the property is using a large amount of power. During poor weather, solar production may also be too low to increase the battery percentage.

Contact MyEnergy if:

• The batteries continue discharging while a charging source is available.
• Solar production is showing zero during clear daylight conditions.
• The generator is running but the batteries are not charging.
• The battery percentage remains unchanged for an extended period.
• An inverter, charger or battery alarm appears.
• The system repeatedly shuts down.

Do not remove equipment covers, disconnect battery cables or change system settings unless instructed by MyEnergy.
