Some Circuits Work but Others Do Not
If some parts of the property have power while others do not, a circuit breaker, safety switch or individual circuit may have tripped.
For grid-connected systems, some circuits may also be excluded from battery backup and will remain off during a grid outage.
What to Check- Check the main switchboard for a tripped circuit breaker or safety switch.
- Turn off appliances connected to the affected circuit.
- Reset the breaker or safety switch once.
- Check whether grid power is currently available.
- Review the inverter and monitoring platform for alarms.
- Confirm whether the affected circuit is connected to backup power.
If the breaker trips again, leave it switched off. This may indicate a faulty appliance, damaged wiring or an electrical fault.
Common Causes- A faulty appliance
- Too many appliances operating on one circuit
- A tripped safety switch
- An electrical wiring fault
- A circuit not connected to backup power
- Water or moisture affecting electrical equipment
- Damage caused by pests or vermin
