Solar Production Appears Low

Solar production changes throughout the day and may be lower due to weather, season, shading or battery conditions.

• Check the time of day and current weather.
• Confirm the batteries are not already full.
• Check whether the property is using most of the available solar power.
• Look for new shading from trees, buildings or roof equipment.
• Check panels for visible dirt, leaves or bird droppings.
• Review the monitoring platform for alarms or offline equipment.
• Compare production with previous days under similar conditions.

Solar production may reduce when the batteries are full and the property is using little power. High panel temperatures can also reduce output on hot days.

Contact MyEnergy if:

• Solar production remains unusually low during clear daylight conditions.
• Production has stopped completely.
• One section of the solar system is producing less than the others.
• A solar charger or inverter alarm appears.
• Panels, cabling or mounting equipment are visibly damaged.

Do not climb onto the roof, remove equipment covers or access electrical components.
