Recommended System Maintenance Schedule

 Regular maintenance helps keep your solar, battery and generator system operating reliably.

Monthly

  • Check the monitoring platform for alarms.
  • Review battery state of charge and solar production.
  • Confirm the generator is set to automatic mode.
  • Check generator fuel level.
  • Keep equipment areas clear and ventilated.
Every 3–6 Months
  • Inspect equipment for dust, pests, water entry or damage.
  • Check visible cables, labels and isolators.
  • Clean ventilation openings where safe.
  • Check generator oil, coolant and starter battery.
  • Review any changes in system performance.
Every 12 Months

Arrange a system inspection that may include:

  • Inverter and battery checks
  • Electrical connection testing
  • Solar array inspection
  • Switchboard and isolator checks
  • Monitoring and alarm review
  • Generator operation testing
  • Firmware and system setting review

Solar panel cleaning may be required more often in dusty, coastal, agricultural or bird-prone areas.

Generator Servicing

Generators must be serviced according to both time and operating hours.

Follow the manufacturer’s schedule for:

  • Oil and filter changes
  • Fuel system checks
  • Cooling system checks
  • Starter battery testing
  • Load testing

Keep all service records for future support and warranty claims.
