Monitoring Is Offline

If your monitoring platform is offline, the power system may still be operating normally. Monitoring requires an active internet connection to send system data.

What to Check
  • Confirm the property internet connection is working.
  • Check that the modem or router is powered on.
  • Restart the modem or router if required.
  • Check whether the Wi-Fi name or password has recently changed.
  • Confirm the internet provider, modem or router has not been replaced.
  • Check the monitoring platform for the last time the system was online.
  • Confirm the monitoring device and system equipment have not been switched off.

Allow several minutes for the system to reconnect after the internet has been restored.

Important

Changes to the internet provider, modem, router, Wi-Fi network or password may require the monitoring equipment to be reconfigured.

Internet and router changes are not covered under the system warranty. Remote support, call-out and travel charges may apply if MyEnergy is required to reconnect or reconfigure the monitoring system.

  • The internet is working but monitoring remains offline.
  • Monitoring repeatedly connects and disconnects.
  • The system also shows an alarm or loss of power.
