Generator Will Not Start

• Confirm the generator controller is set to Auto.
• Check there is enough fuel.
• Make sure the emergency stop has not been pressed.
• Check for active alarms or warning lights.
• Confirm the generator starter battery is not flat.
• Check the fuel valve is open, where fitted.
• Make sure the generator isolator has not been switched off.

You may try one manual start using the generator’s normal controls. Do not repeatedly attempt to start it if an alarm or fault is displayed.

While the generator is unavailable:

• Turn off air conditioning and heating.
• Avoid electric cooking, pumps and EV charging.
• Turn off non-essential appliances and lighting.
• Monitor the battery state of charge.

If battery levels continue falling, the system may shut down to protect the batteries.

Contact MyEnergy if:

• The generator still does not start.
• It starts and then stops.
• An alarm remains active.
• The batteries are below 20% and continuing to fall.
• The property has lost power.

Do not remove generator covers, bypass safety controls or access internal wiring.
