Property Has Lost Power

If your property has lost power, first check whether the outage affects the entire property or only certain circuits.

Check the Following
  • Check the main switchboard for a tripped circuit breaker or safety switch.
  • Turn off large appliances before resetting a tripped breaker.
  • Check the inverter, batteries and monitoring platform for alarms.
  • Check the current battery state of charge.
  • For off-grid systems, confirm the generator has fuel and is set to Auto.
  • For grid-connected systems, check whether there is a local network outage.
  • Confirm the inverter and battery switches have not been turned off.

Only reset a circuit breaker once. If it trips again, leave it off and contact MyEnergy or a licensed electrician.

If Battery Levels Are Low

Reduce power use immediately:

  • Turn off air conditioning and heating.
  • Avoid electric cooking, pumps and EV charging.
  • Turn off non-essential appliances.
  • Keep only essential lighting, refrigeration and communications operating.

The system may restart once solar, generator or grid charging becomes available.

Contact MyEnergy

Contact MyEnergy if:

  • The complete property remains without power.
  • The generator does not start.
  • The batteries are not charging.
  • The inverter displays an alarm.
  • The system repeatedly shuts down.
  • A breaker continues to trip.

Do not remove equipment covers, bypass safety devices or access internal electrical components.

For smoke, fire, burning smells, water entry or exposed wiring, move away from the equipment and contact emergency services.
