Located in regional South Australia, Verran is home to grazing and cropping land, workshops and agricultural sheds where access to reliable electricity is essential. For industrial facilities without access to mains power, a purpose-built off grid solar power system provides an alternative to costly grid connections.
For a newly built industrial workshop in Verran, MyEnergy designed and installed an off grid solar and battery system to power the site's steel fabrication, metalworking and mechanical operations.
The large industrial shed will accommodate a range of equipment, including vehicle hoists, compressors and heavy-duty workshop machinery. With no mains electricity available, the owners required a dependable three-phase power supply capable of supporting daily operations and future growth.
Three-Phase Industrial Off Grid Power Solution
MyEnergy installed a 14.25kW JA Solar array on the shed roof using the Schletter Roof Mount System, with 15 panels facing east and 15 facing west to generate solar power across different periods of the day.
Inside the shed, a 25kW Deye Three Phase Hybrid Inverter and 61.2kWh of Deye battery storage provide power for the workshop's industrial equipment. The installation also included a new 24-pole switchboard and a 32A three-phase generator inlet, allowing a compatible backup generator to be connected in the future if required.
The complete system was designed and installed by MyEnergy's in-house team, providing a standalone power supply tailored to the demands of the workshop.
From steel fabrication workshops to agricultural sheds, MyEnergy delivers off grid solar power systems tailored around the demands of each site.
With more than 15 years of experience and an award-winning track record, our in-house team manages everything from system design through to installation and commissioning, delivering reliable power for businesses where the grid won't go.
