MyEnergy Engineering designed and installed an off-grid power system at a residential property in Cassini, on Kangaroo Island’s north coast, a beautiful part of the island that overlooks the Investigator Strait. The property owners wasted no time ensuring they’d have reliable power, bringing us in early on during the build, starting with their newly constructed shed.
The shed, a spacious 20x12m with east/west roof aspects, is more than just storage. It’s home to a single-phase Standalone Power System (SPS) set up on a mezzanine floor, providing reliable power for their essential needs; split-system A/C and heating, rainwater tank pumps and even an air compressor.
Planning ahead means the property owners are not just building a house; they’re building a sustainable lifestyle. With this proactive approach, they’re ready to enjoy reliable, efficient and eco-friendly power, all while soaking in the beautiful views from their new home in Cassini.
Key Components of this Off-grid Power System:
