Quondong Station, a 365,140-acre Merino sheep operation founded in 1869, sits 160 kilometers from Burra, South Australia. All equipment was housed within a 20-foot insulated, air-conditioned shipping container, providing protection from heat, dust, and harsh environmental factors while maintaining stable operating conditions for critical components.

The system combines proven Victron Energy technology with high-output Trina Solar panels and ZYC lithium battery storage, working together to deliver consistent power around the clock. This integrated approach ensures dependable operation day and night, while also allowing for efficient energy management and the flexibility to support ongoing usage as requirements evolve.

• Containerised Setup: System housed in a 20-foot insulated, air-conditioned shipping container, the system was constructed, tested, and commissioned off-site, reducing on-site installation time and complexity.
• 44kW Solar Array: Trina Vertex panels mounted on an existing shed, plus an integrated older solar array, provide consistent energy production.
• Victron Quattro Inverters: Dual 48/15000 Quattros supply 30kVA continuously, with 50kVA peak capacity for high single-phase loads.
• Victron SmartSolar Charge Controllers: DC-coupled MPPT controllers maximize charging efficiency, feeding power directly to the batteries.
• Fronius Inverters: AC-coupled Fronius inverters handle power loads directly during the day, reducing strain on the Quattro inverters and improving system efficiency.
• Victron GX Touch Interface: A simple, intuitive display lets station owners monitor and adjust the system as needed. It allows MyEnergy to monitor and maintain the system remotely.
• 72kWh ZYC SIMPO5000 Batteries: Scalable storage ensures the station has the energy it needs now, with room to grow in the future.
